By requesting our services, accepting a quotation, or confirming a booking with MUSA, the client (and any travelers represented by the client) expressly acknowledges and unconditionally accepts these Terms & Conditions.
1. Scope of Services
MUSA is a luxury travel agency specializing in the design, planning, curation, and delivery of bespoke luxury journeys, tailor-made itineraries, exclusive events, and premium travel experiences worldwide.
Our services include the direct organization of travel arrangements and/or the coordination between our clients and carefully selected international partners who meet our rigorous standards of excellence, including but not limited to boutique hotels, luxury resorts, renowned wineries, private transportation providers, luxury chauffeurs, yacht and cruise operators, local expert guides, airlines, fine dining establishments, and other premium hospitality providers.
2. Proposals, Quotations & Validity
Tailor-Made Worldwide Itineraries
Every proposal prepared by MUSA is unique and individually designed according to each client's travel profile, preferences, objectives, and chosen destination.
Quotation Validity
Unless otherwise stated in writing, all quotations remain valid for 15 calendar days from the date of issue.
Currency Fluctuations & Supplier Availability
After the validity period has expired, quoted prices—which may depend on international exchange rates—and the availability of third-party suppliers can no longer be guaranteed and may be subject to price adjustments, revised conditions, or itinerary modifications.
3. Payment Terms & Deposit Policy
In order to secure reservations with our exclusive international partners and guarantee the successful execution of all travel services, the following payment conditions apply:
Confirmation Deposit
Upon acceptance of the proposed itinerary, the client shall pay a 40% non-refundable deposit of the total quoted value.
Reservations will only be considered confirmed once cleared funds have been received.
Final Balance
The remaining 60% balance must be paid in full no later than 45 days prior to the commencement of the first service included in the itinerary.
Last-Minute Bookings & Peak Seasons
For bookings made fewer than 45 days before departure, or during periods of limited availability or high demand, MUSA reserves the right to require full payment (100%) at the time of confirmation.
Payment Methods
Payments may be made by international bank transfer or through the secure electronic payment platforms provided directly by MUSA.
4. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Luxury travel planning requires advance financial commitments with carefully selected partners around the world, many of which operate under strict non-refundable conditions.
Should the client cancel all or part of the booked itinerary, the following cancellation terms shall apply:
More than 60 days before departure
Amounts paid will be refunded, less:
-
an administrative fee equivalent to 10% of the total itinerary value;
-
any non-refundable deposits already paid to suppliers;
-
airline ticket issuance fees;
-
and any other non-refundable costs retained by hotels, cruise operators, destination management companies, or other third-party providers.
Between 59 and 30 days before departure
The 40% confirmation deposit shall be retained in full.
Less than 30 days before departure
The client shall be liable for 100% of the total confirmed itinerary value, and no refund or travel credit shall be issued.
Important: Where a specific international supplier applies cancellation terms that are more restrictive than those above, such conditions will be communicated in writing within the travel proposal and shall prevail over these general provisions.
5. Itinerary Changes & Force Majeure
Changes Initiated by MUSA
MUSA reserves the right to amend the order of scheduled activities, replace suppliers with alternatives of equivalent or superior quality, or cancel individual services where necessary due to adverse weather, natural disasters, political instability, strikes, aviation authority directives, government restrictions, or any other event of force majeure affecting the safety, comfort, or feasibility of the itinerary.
Whenever possible, an equivalent alternative experience shall be provided or a proportional refund shall be issued for the affected service.
Changes Requested by the Client
Requests to modify travel dates, routes, accommodations, experiences, or other services after payment of the confirmation deposit remain subject to supplier availability and applicable conditions in the destination country and may incur additional amendment fees.
6. International Travel Insurance
Agency Insurance
In full compliance with Portuguese and European legislation, OASIS DETAIL maintains all mandatory Professional Liability and Personal Accident insurance required for licensed travel agencies.
Client Travel Insurance
Given the international nature and significant value of our bespoke luxury journeys, MUSA strongly recommends that every client purchase comprehensive worldwide travel insurance in their country of residence before departure.
Such insurance should include, at minimum:
-
Emergency international medical assistance;
-
Medical evacuation and repatriation;
-
Trip cancellation and interruption coverage;
-
Lost, delayed or damaged baggage protection.
7. Travel Documents, Passports, Visas & Health Requirements
Clients are solely responsible for ensuring that all travelers within their party possess valid documentation required for entry into, transit through, and departure from every country included in the itinerary.
This includes, without limitation:
-
passports meeting the validity requirements of each destination;
-
entry visas;
-
electronic travel authorizations (including ESTA, ETIAS, or similar);
-
and compliance with all applicable health, vaccination, or entry requirements.
MUSA accepts no responsibility for denied visas, refused entry, boarding refusals, or travel disruptions resulting from incomplete, invalid, or insufficient travel documentation.
8. Image Rights
Unless the client expressly objects in writing before the commencement of the trip, MUSA reserves the right to use photographs and short video recordings captured by our guides or Journey Designers during the travel experience solely for portfolio purposes, social media, marketing, and brand promotion.
MUSA shall always respect the dignity, privacy, and reputation of its clients.
9. Complaints, Governing Law & Jurisdiction
Delivering exceptional service worldwide is our commitment.
Should any aspect of the travel experience fall short of expectations, the client must immediately notify their dedicated Journey Designer or contact our 24/7 emergency assistance line, allowing our team the opportunity to resolve or mitigate the issue while the journey is still in progress.
